[A] CELO - Critical:
Opening the 2 track release from CELO is Critical, a heavy hitting Drum & Bass roller fusing hard drums, with a bass line fuelled by ripping FM synths and an effortlessly melodic hook. The intro draws you in through the use of eerie pads and a pitched up break, before introducing the subtle melodic touches. During the break down and emerging from the background come hints of that ripping bass line before a powerful drop with the straight up and forceful tech step beat. The track progresses with a series of twisted bass lines supported by an intense synth, so make sure you expect a generous helping of real intensity, with this high energy track.
[B] CELO - Fall
Fall was inspired by it's Transatlantic counter part autumn, where the darkness begins to slowly settle in, but is still reminiscent of the light and warmth of summer. A Liquid Drum & Bass track allowing CELO to demonstrate his love for bass lines that are full of warm rich tones, but still have an edge of darkness, coming together to produce his characteristic sound. Beginning with simple yet delicate piano notes and floating pads to enhance the atmospheric backdrop, with the beats dictating the tempo of the track and the complimentary warm and expansive bass line, expertly adding to the overriding emotions. As the track progresses as does the intensity with a wave of rolling stuttering amen breaks, to cement this track as a true Liquid DnB roller.
