Born and raised in East London, Habiba's earliest memory of Music was listening to Motown records in her uncles flat in Lewisham.
Her Music is shaped from her musical education of The Supremes, The Temptations Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, her writing style reflects the raw and emotive style of that time.
Habiba's influences also include Etta James, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill and H.E.R which stimulated her creativity when writing her debut single.
Habiba's Music is heartfelt and honest using soulful tones to share what can only be describes as the beautiful pains of life and love.
