For many years Jimmy Saunders was known on the UK Drum’n Bass Circuit as DJ STEPTOE, djing with MC’s such as GQ, GLORY L, even in the lower basement of West Hampstead NW9 with Stamina MC. Along playing in venues such as AWOL, SW1, MINISTRY and so many others and changing the name to DJ J ANGEL in the early 2000’s. Jimmy has done it all from Café Del Mar to the Sydney Sugar Reef. After releasing five albums, 2 drum’n bass, two House and one breakbeat Jazz; Jimmy has found yet another project with singer song writer Monika Klejna, to form a splendid back drop of House soul Jazz funk be it what you will but you cant mistake good production along with splendid vocal to make the sound they have, and have it they sure do. Jimmy has created his own label ONEBASS9 RECORDINGS two years ago and still going as strong as ever, the label has created some of the finest tracks available in drum’n bass house and jazz/lounge to make it a serious contender within the music industry today.
