WIDE RANGE OF SOUNDS
A total of 834 unique sounds have been recorded for location recordings. All samples have been recorded out in the field using a Zoom H6 field recorder and various different mics. By recording as you explore a location a wide range of samples are available to record. Such samples include recordings of gas canisters, metal gates, containers, shutter doors and anything else that makes a unique sound we happen to find on our travels.
MULTIPLE HIT TYPES
A number of different mallets, sticks and hammers were used to record each hit. Rubber mallets achieve a deeper more solid round sound. Sledgehammers achieve a bright sharp hit. baseball bat hits are more precise and thinner sounding.
FIELD RECORDING SETUP
The snare used to create the vintage snare banks is one of the industries most sought after snares. The Fibes snare dates back to the 1970's and has been used in countless hit records. The collection of vintage sanre samples includes open latch hits, closed latch hits and
PARAMETER CONTROLS
VST parameters include pan. tune and ADSR. The ADSR can be used to shape your sound by removing the tail or ring, to create a tighter more snappy hit. The tune parameter can be used to tune the sound plus or minus 12 semitones. Pan can be used to position your sound left or right. Master control include volume and reverb parameters.
