Excellent mastering services. I’ve used many other studio’s over the years being 42 and all that but this is by far the best mastering service I have used in the last 20 years. I mean come on £25 for what I can see at least a £30,000 mastering chain. Most studios don’t have half the high end gear these guys have. Well done Audio Animals will be using you ever master I have done for my band WORLD CLASS service. Danny Boi

Dubnostics

Just received my master back from The Audio Animals and along with the 3 other masters i have had done by them its sounds excellent it just sounds so much more fuller and dynamic and professional and cuts right though in the mix. Anyone looking for mixing or mastering services should look no further you just cant beat the swift professional polite service these guys offer not to mention the absolute incredible value for money for a service that would cost a lot lot more anywhere else and you will just not get the same quality because of the thousands of pounds worth of hardware signal chain that your track will get mastered through. This is my 4th master i have had done by The Audio Animals and i am looking forward to getting all the rest of my future premasters over thanks to all at THE AUDIO ANIMALS.

Nothing To Lose

I listened to a few of their before-and-after master demos on Soundcloud. These were good but it’s not they’ve mastered a track you know inside and out that you realise the extent of the magic they can weave into your track. Bigger, fuller, louder and warmer are descriptions that go some way toward explaining how your track will sound after it’s been through the top of the range hardware in the Audio Animals Sound Cave but for £25, I’d recommend trying them out for yourselves. I guarantee, you’ll never play an unmastered track in a set again.

Can’t recommend Audio Animals enough!! Friendly, helpful and top quality service all round! Will definitely be coming back! :-)

What Is The Difference Between Standard And Priority Mastering? What Is The Average Turn Around Time?

Both standard and priority mastering use the exact same mastering equipment and chain. The only difference is turn around time. Standard mastering is turned around in 4-7 days where as priority mastering is turned around in anything from 2 hours -2 days. If you are ordering standard or priority mastering and require your track back by a certain day and time please let us know your deadline when sending your file here. We will always make sure your track is back by your required deadline.

Why Do I Not Just Use Ozone?

Ozone will get your track quite loud but it will not give your track the clarity and overall fullness it deserves. Mastering is not just about audio processing. Expertise and knowledge play a huge part in knowing how to master a track. Ozone is a digital alternative to low quality mastering where as what we offer is high quality analogue mastering using the worlds best audio equipment and accurate monitoring.

Will My Track Be Loud?

Yes your track will be loud but unlike most analogue masters will keep it’s dynamic range. Knowing how to make your track loud without compromising dynamics comes with years of experience and high quality audio equipment.

How Do Audio Animals Get Such Good Results?

This is partly down to experience and also the high end audio equipment Audio Animals use. We use legendary audio equipment such as Shadow Hills and Maselec compressors as well as Neve, Maag, SSL, Elysia, Little labs eq’s.

Shadow-Hills-Dual-Vandergraph     Rpert-Neve-542-Tape-Saturation     Maselec-MPL2-Peak-HF-Limiter     Maselec-MLA3-Multiband-Compressor

What Is Analogue Mastering?

Analogue mastering is the mastering of audio using analogue outboard equipment. Often known as the dark art in musical circles, mastering is the last step of the audio production process, the stage between the final mixdown and the distribution of your music, be it as an mp3, cd or vinyl. What the mastering engineer does for you, can vary greatly depending on what your track needs. Using  a combination of their high end specialist audio equipment, a properly acoustically treated room and most importantly their experienced ear, a mastering engineer will polish your music and give you that professional edge in a highly contested market.

Does My Music Need Mastering?

Simply, the answer would be yes. Although a good mixdown will go a long way, a properly mastered track will add that final touch to make it stand up against commercial music and be playable on a wide variety of sound systems. With the increase of home studios over the last decade, music production is now available to the masses, however, most will not have access to the equipment that will give you the competitive edge. It is also important to have someone master your track with fresh ears, who will take an objective view, as it is natural for a person to listen to a track with an obscured outlook after listening to it looped for hours on end while producing / mixing.

Why Use Audio Animals To Master Your Track

The key benefits to working with Audio Animals is the ability to have your tracks run through some of the industries best audio equipment. Unlike a lot of mixing and mastering studios charging from £20 – £60 per track for a digital master inside the box using digital plugins. Audio Animals sum out of the box using an analogue SSL Solid State Logic 36 channel summing mixer. This is the same summing mixer used in the majority of no.1 hit records. Audio Animals excel in the music industry, offering industry standard loud masters, whilst retaining dynamics unlike many other mastering studios. We are able to achieve this with help from our unique mastering chain. Which consists of the world’s best multiband mastering compressor the Maselec MLA-3 and legendary Shadow Hills Compressor. All analogue mastering is run through the truly unique sound of the Rupert Neve’s 542 tape saturation units, adding warmth and life to any audio source.  We’ve worked in the mixing and mastering industry for the past 12 years and have built up the perfect mastering chain for our style. We guarantee you will not find a better service on the internet that provides such high end equipment at this price. Affordable high mastering is now at everyone’s reach not just the major labels and artists.

Not only do we offer a high end mastering service using some of the world’s best audio gear, we also offer a free promotional service reaching thousands of new potential fans every day. Once we have completed your mix and or master we offer the option to have your track listed on our clients releases page here. Simply supply us with your artwork and player / video link as well as download store links and we’ll create an article to promote your release through our online network. Among many reasons this is why over 17,000 and counting artists choose Audio Animals to work on their music.

The reason most artists and labels choose Audio Animals to master their music is simple…. Quality. For £20 – £60 you are receiving a master on equipment that would cost you £100’s at most high end studios. With Audio Animals that same high quality audio master is available to you for a fraction of the price. For a full list of studio equipment we use visit our studio page here. In today’s “interwebz” driven world where, more often than not, quality is compromised for quantity, it’s nice to know that that are some dedicated professionals–artists–who take pride in their craft. Enter Audio Animals and their remarkable collection of omnipotent analog hardware and a track record or top shelf clients. I submitted a mix for mastering that was a bit tight in terms of turnaround time and the boys at AA not only beat said deadline, but turned my mixed track into a punchy, crystal clear master with a brilliant range of dynamics. While I’m sure many will jump on the “you can do this with digital tools,” I beg to differ. There’s something unique about having a track ran through a proper mastering chain of analog gear. Call it warmth. Call it fullness. Personally, I call it fucking awesome. Thank you Paul & Nick. I hope to one day make it “across the pond” so that I can see your sonic weapons of mass destruction in-person. Until then, you certainly have a customer for life. Cheers.

I have just had my first track mastered by Audio Animals and on top of the AWESOME master I received, the communication was superb! Audio Animals (Nick) made every effort to make sure that I was 100% happy with the end product. You could easily spend £200 with a different mastering company achieving the same result as you would get from these guys for just £25! Highly recommended!

Fantastic work as always with the last master!
As any producer should be I’m always looking to improve my mixing technique and as you’ve had to deal with plenty of my work, I was wondering if anything sticks out in my work that I can improve on, which would not only help me be a better producer but make your job a lot easier!

Any advice would be much appreciated,
