Hi my name is Paul Ashmore, I was born in London in 1985 and established Audio Animals in October 2012. Within this time I have had the pleasure of working with over 18,000 different mixing orders. Everything from Grammy award winning A list pop stars and major Hollywood Films, to underground artists and producers releasing their first song. I love working with all artists big and small. I treat everyone the same and no matter who you are, I always achieve a mix that is worthy of a No.1 hit.
I pride myself on high quality audio and always aim to achieve the best possible results. The pride of my kit list, is my Dolby Atmos 9.1.4 mixing studio with an Avid S4 centre console. This studio sounds unreal and is a joy to work in. To work in a fully immersive 3d space mixing music every day is a true blessing.
When I am not working in the studio mixing, I am building VST plugins and recording samples for high quality instrument libraries. This job takes me up and down the country recording in military bases, WW2 bunkers and abandoned buildings. Of an evening I enjoy writing helpful articles about my experiences in the music industry and provide useful tips on how to achieve a better sound in your home studio.
