8 UNIQUE KEYSWITCHES
Using the notes from E1 to B1 you can switch between 8 different playing styles. Each playing style contains 48 unique hits and can be switched on the fly by punching in the designated keyswitch note on the keyboard. Keyswitches allow you to program in authentic drum patterns that accurately emulate a real drummer.
UNMUTED / MUTED HITS
Muted hits are dampened on the drums skin using the left hand. This achieves a tighter hit with a more controlled resonance and ring of the drum. Unmuted hits do not use the left hand to dampen the drum and allow it to ring out at full resonance.
ADSR TO SHAPE YOUR SOUND
The ADSR can be used to shape your sound by removing the tail or ring of the drum, to create a tighter more snappy hit. The ADSR includes an accurate read out of the exact amount of milliseconds each stage of the ADSR takes to complete. Making fine tuning an effortless task.
CENTRE / MIDDLE / EDGE HITS
Every keyswitch and playing style has been recorded in the highest of detail. Each octave includes 4 hits for the edge, middle and centre of the drum. Each position achieves a unique hit unlike the next. Centre hits are solid and powerful. Middle hits much like centre hits but ring out more, like a combination between an edge and centre hit. Edge hits twang and have a more resonant hit to them. All 4 hits in each position are truly unique and sound unlike the drum hit before or after it.
KEYBOARD MAPPING
All instruments are mapped to the keyboard in exactly the same way. By doing so ensures midi files written for one instrument trigger the following instrument in exactly the same way.
