VOCAL PHRASES / VOCAL TYPES
Vocal phrases are single sentences or words, that can be pieced together to create complete hooks or verses. Complete tracks can be created using a single phrase. Sometimes the most effective vocal tracks are ones that use variations of the same sentence.
Each vocal includes a dry, wet and processed version. Dry is a raw recording direct from the mic pre-amp. The processed version has been processed within the Audio Animals mastering studio using a pair of Maag EQ4’s, Shadow Hills compressor, Maslec MPL-2 de-esser and Neve 542 tape saturator. Wet vocal is the processed vocal with our Lexicon 224 vocal reverb applied to it.

Kymberley Myles has worked within the music industry for well over a decade, having been signed to Ecko Records in her teenage years. You will recognise Kym’s vocals on such UK Bassline tracks as We Got A Love and I’m In Love among others.
